The <A2E> conversion allows the <GCI> product to make a connection with the MkV control system for communication over both Arcnet and Ethernet. A modern and traditional network topology can be developed by offering a hardware and software package solution to stray away from Arcnet by going to Ethernet communication.
The conversion provides for all of the normal communication functions, however, it provides the ability for Mark V customers to move away from the discontinuation of ISA ARCNET boards that are no longer supported by the OEM.
